Common questions

Money, Quotes and Offers

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It's a flat $65 off the invoice on your first booking with us, regardless of which service you need. Mention it when you call or book online and we'll apply it to the job.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. We assess the problem and give you a fixed number with no cost and no obligation to go ahead. You only pay once you've approved the work.

What payment options do you offer?

We'll walk you through the options once the job's approved and completed. Nothing is charged upfront beyond what you've agreed to for the repair itself.

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We inspect the job first, then agree one number with you before any work starts. That figure doesn't move once we begin, and there's no hourly rate ticking over in the background.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

Everything from your fixtures to where your pipe joins the street connection is your responsibility, and ours to fix. Past that point, it belongs to Sydney Water, and their crews handle a mains-side fault. A site visit is normally enough to work out which one applies.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Every job we complete is backed by a lifetime labour warranty on the workmanship. If our own work is the reason something fails again, putting it right is on us, not you.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

For safety steps like shutting off water at the meter or leaving the property for a gas smell, yes. Beyond that, plumbing and gas repairs are licensed work in NSW, and getting it wrong can make the problem worse.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Our gas work is carried out by licensed gas fitters, a separate qualification from a standard plumbing licence. We hold both, so gas leaks and appliance connections are handled properly.

Common questions

Response, Timing and Booking

How fast can you get here?

Same-day is the goal whenever it's genuinely achievable, and we're on call around the clock to attempt it. Ring us, describe the fault, and you'll get a straight answer rather than a vague estimate.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, every single day, including the ones marked red on the calendar. Plumbing trouble doesn't take holidays, so we don't either.

How do I book?

Phoning (02) 9140 0196 gets the quickest result. There's also a callback form on the contact page for anyone who'd prefer to be phoned rather than phone in.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Think in terms of damage happening right now: spreading water, sewage that's backed up, the hot water system dead, or any trace of a gas smell. If you've already stopped it getting worse, whatever's left over can go on the regular booking list instead.

Common questions

Local to Wentworthville

Why do Wentworthville's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

A lot of the suburb's post-war brick housing still runs original pipework, and galvanised supply pipes from that era corrode internally over time. That ageing infrastructure is behind a large share of the callouts we get from these streets.

Do you handle strata and units in Wentworthville?

Yes. The recent wave of unit blocks and townhouses close to the shops means shared-line and strata jobs come up often, and we quote them the same way as any standalone house.

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside emergency callouts. Renovated kitchens and bathrooms often introduce flexi-hose fittings, which we're just as equipped to repair as the original 1950s plumbing next door.

How local are you, really?

This is genuinely home ground for us. The Wentworthville Shopping Plaza and the newer Woolworths precinct on the Great Western Highway are places we pass through regularly, callout or not.
